I hope this update finds you well as you prepare to celebrate Christ’s birth. We recently did an outreach to Tent City, a gathering of New Haven’s homeless in a tent community. We gave t-shirts, underwear, socks, tarps for the tents, and food. Afterwards, we headed over to the New Haven Green and continued distributing items and prayed with many broken and homeless individuals.
In November, we enjoyed a Thanksgiving Gathering Dinner with The 180 Family at our center. As I looked around the room, I marveled at the lives that have been changed through Christ! I listened to testimonies, shared memories, and songs. It was a night of true Thanksgiving.
Now we are busy with The Luke 14:14 Outreach. Take a minute to read the verse in your Bible. Isn’t it awesome God blesses us so generously when we give to those who cannot repay us? We are excited to give a gift to all those in need who walk through our door Christmas week, plus bless our disciples and graduate staff. We appreciate your giving to make this happen.
I’ve been sharing a lot about the transformation of our new building. Below, you’ll find the things completed since our last update. Also, below that, you’ll find a list of things needed to complete phase one. However, nothing beats seeing lives transformed by Jesus! My prayer is that we remember this season that Jesus came to seek and save the lost. May His mission be our mission!
Our ultimate goal is to reconnect individuals to God, their families, and a supportive community.
