Happy Fall!
I hope this update finds you well and enjoying the new season of autumn. This past year has been a challenge for everyone in many ways, but it’s important to take time to pause and reflect. Ginny and I took a week and visited our son and daughter-in-law for a few days in Baltimore where they recently relocated from Los Angeles. After that visit we headed up to Maine for the remainder of the week. We enjoyed the beach and beautiful weather. Best of all, we were able to get plenty of rest!
The 180 Center ministry disciples and graduates enjoyed two summer picnics, and we were privileged to celebrate the water baptism of two men in the program. Our graduates (and us too!) were blessed by Icare Outreach, a ministry out of Bridgeport, CT. Pastor Robert and Jessie Turner taught a ten week class on Faith and Finances. Six of our graduates completed the ten week course! We continue to stay open seven days a week and serve New Haven’s homeless population. Come and visit sometime!
Lastly, we cannot say thank you enough to all the individuals and church teams that have volunteered. We are extremely grateful for your service. To God be all the Glory and may He reward you!
Our ultimate goal is to reconnect individuals to God, their families, and a supportive community.
The 180 Center could not survive without your donations. We are completely funded by the generosity of our church and partners. We thank all who have or are going to donate. God bless you!
